Photographing people in Canada is not easy. Sometimes when I walk around with a camera I feel like someone walking around with a weapon. I do not know who and where I will get a sullen look or a nervous word about the violation of privacy (no matter that many of them will photograph anything private and insignificant and upload it to social networks). So I had to think about how to incorporate wonderful Canadian nature and lighting characters, and one of the solutions was to photograph them as a silhouette, as something added to the image and not the other way around as something central. And maybe this is really the situation in Canada where the dominant is nature and not man, unlike other countries.
The few I have been able to photograph are truly extraordinary in my eyes and I am sure there are more and I am still looking.
