Meiron

The town of Meron, in the north of Israel in the Galilee. The settlement was named after the ancient Miron, which was nearby, and its name was preserved in the name. The place is known for the tomb of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, which is located on its margins, and reaches hundreds of thousands of people on a certain date each year. Around it are other ancient tombs that attract many believers.
