Art photographs and printing materials
Each photograph, like any piece of art, is is influenced by the material. In the beginning years of photography, pictures were printed on glass, then paper of various kinds, as well as canvas, which continues today.
There are various options for printing on materials, and if the nature of the photograph and the material is matched, then the work approaches perfection. I print on various materials besides canvas including: acrylic, glass, ceramic, concrete, and more. For example, the black-and-white portrait series is printed on a 20 cm by 20 cm ceramic tile, producing a spectacular display. There are other pictures printed on stone, such as Jewish religious objects, resulting in a new dimension to the image.
